Morning, starting around 9:30 AM, when the lake is calmest and you get those glass-like reflections. Afternoon winds can pick up, especially for paddleboards.
Yes. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (PFDs), paddles, and a lake safety briefing are included free with every kayak and paddleboard rental.
Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds), we'll cancel and offer rescheduling or a full refund. Light rain doesn't stop rentals — you're getting wet anyway!
